Thanks for an important question, as a lot of people with diabetes complain of these symptoms. Otis Brawley, chief medical officer at the American Cancer Society.Ĭan diabetes be a (possible) cause of fatigue, leg and lower back aches? I have had bursts of energy for 10 to 15 minutes, but then need to sit for about 10 minutes, and I'm ready to go full steam again. They have generally become boring and monotone to me, and completely lack the immersive feel.Every weekday, a CNNHealth expert doctor answers a viewer question. They are all the same games, in various packages, proven by the fact that you learn the mechanics of a new MMO in no time at all, as you are highly familiar with them from other MMO's. We need more brave developers not picking up the WoW template (or the new awful hack'n'slash MMO template) when making MMO. It has no impact on the world, only on your own character progression, which completely removes the multiplayer feel for me. Todays questing is heavily single player oriented. Questing wasn't lined up as a thempark ride. The pace was also vastly different, you wouldn't get a nonstop gratification in form of progression or loot. In EQ 1, the first big 3D MMO, which you can safely say WoW was inspired by, there were a lot more roles than damage, tank, healer. They streamlined a concept, and a ton of wannabe WoWs popped up, not really trying to create anything new, but merely puts WoW onto new bottles, so to speak. You just really like the fuckin thing.īelieve it or not, but I think the success of WoW kind of killed the genre. My point is, if you stick to it and have fun, it's not nostalgia. Same happens with bunch of games, I get nostalgic, I play them again, 5mins later I uninstall. Nostalgia also got me to check out TBC and WOTLK, and I didn't last a week in either of those. Nostalgia got me to check out classic vanilla and I played through the entire fuckin thing and had a blast. I think it's an overrated argument that doesn't hold up. And it is sad that there isn't a good modern MMO being developped in that spirit. If I went back to play an MMO it would be a modern one for sure.īut, they're different and like OP mentioned, the spirit is just not the same. I played some of these games for a long time and I enjoy the complexity and optimization at the end game. Imo I would recommend current wow instead of classic to almost anyone looking to get into it, or any other modern MMO instead of the old ones. Now, I'm not saying these new games are bad. Not that some old games didn't have that, or didn't implement them pretty early on, but still. Modern MMOs have a bunch of item shop items, daily login rewards, daily activities, weekly activities, bunch of fuckin carrot on a stick engagement FOMO shit that makes u wanna burn the studio to the ground. It also took fuckin ages to level and it was more about the journey than the endgame loop.Īnd so many other things and differences between the two. The game world in modern MMOs is very streamlined and optimized with gameplay and QoL in mind before exploration or immersion or any of that RPG stuff. Stuff like that, just little details like that. They are usually more detailed in itemization, regions and zones - not everything is optimized and layed out with a plan, there's actually memorable items instead of +main stat+secondary higher level whatever the fuck. They lack a lot of QoL features that make social interaction more organic and important, inside the game itself. The Elder Scrolls online became good but after years. And you dont need social contact after Mits of Pandaria too after all. WoW now is just a dungeon simulator, you get the max level in 4 hours and spam dungeon as as it if the only thing left in the game. I dont think this is nostalgia because I still playing private servers of these games and still having a lot of fun for weeks. ![]() Genshim Impact multiplayer and with the same problems of New World.Īlbion online same with lost ark and runescape #3. An RPG that doesn't have classes doesnt please me, You change your skills changing the weapon, this is weird af. New World has like 2 or 3 skills but the skills are boring, the maps boring, the content is boring. Theres no social contact beetwen players because you dont need to do it. Whats the lasts MMORPGS?īlack Desert, right? Infinite grind with a trash RNG.
